The 5th Annual Scientific Symposium in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care is a three-day event promoting hot topics in anesthesiology and intensive care by bringing together experts in various fields. The event represents unique meeting of professionals dedicated to embrace new procedures and concepts in anesthesiology and intensive care, which is reflected in the number of participants and an impressive list of lecturers. The scientific program is supported by almost all the major professional associations in the world. The symposium organized by Department of anesthesia and intensive care, School of medicine, University of Niš in collaboration with Serbian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists ( www.uais.rs) and Section for Anesthesiology, Intensive care and Pain therapy of the Serbian Medical Society. All this confirms the quality of the scientific meeting and its importance in the region.
