Global Epidemiology and Outcomes in Traumatic Brain Injury (GEO-TBI) – a World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) sponsored neurotrauma registry

This questionnaire has been constructed by the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Neurotrauma to canvass opinion for a planned International Registry for Traumatic Brain Injury endorsed by the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS).

The purpose of this questionnaire is to consult the wider neurotrauma community about what items would be most important for such a Registry, and how feasible collection of these items will be.

The questionnaire includes a wide ranging list of potential data items which have been defined through a number of scoping workshops, preliminary surveys and expert discussions from the group’s work to date.

Striking a balance between relative significance and feasibility of collecting individual data items is crucial, and as this has not been well-explored before, we wish to get this right with your help.

We recognise that several of these items may not make the final Registry, and the overall data load will be reassessed before the Registry is implemented in its final form. However, in order to understand what the community feels is important and feasible, we have included the wide range of options included within this questionnaire.

The questionnaire is likely to take less than 20 minutes to complete. Please ensure you complete the whole questionnaire. We thank you for your input.
